Little Laxers is Now Open to Natick Families!

Fun Intro to Lacrosse

Little Laxers introduces Kindergarten and advanced preschool age boys and girls to the sport of lacrosse in a social, supportive, and confidence-building environment. And like all our lacrosse activities, the clinic is taught by very enthusiastic coaches who make lacrosse accessible for all ages and experience levels.

Convenient Time & Location

The hour-long clinic runs Sunday mornings (10-11 am), April 25 through May 23 at the Cole Center (North field).

Easy Registration

The base cost of the program is $60. You can register your child online.

Simple Equipment

Your child will just need a FiddleSTX or similar mini-lacrosse stick to participate. Some sticks will be available at the clinic if you are unable to purchase one. Since we follow all COVID-19 safety protocols, your child must also wear a mask (cloth or disposable). Soft mini-lacrosse balls will be used at the clinic.

Boys and Girls Spring Outdoor Practice Times

Outdoor practices run Thursday, April 1 through Saturday June 8. We will continue to follow the COVID requirements of the Natick Board of Health and State of Massachusetts:

  1. Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes before the start of each practice.
  2. Make sure to complete the COVID Self-Checklist before each practice session.
  3. Please make sure players are fully dressed for practice before they take the field.
  4. Players and coaches must wear masks at all times while at practice, including under helmets (the splash guard type protection is NOT sufficient to comply with this requirement).
  5. Players should have their own water bottle.
  6. Players will be assigned to a specific area to leave their water and any other gear they may not be using during practice.
  7. Hand sanitizer will be available at practices, but players are encouraged to bring their own as well.
  8. Parents will be able to watch at designated viewing areas and are required to maintain social distancing and mask guidelines.
  9. Players should leave the practice area as soon as possible after practice is over.

If and when guidance from the Board of Health or the State changes, we will update these requirements accordingly.

COVID Requirements

All players, parents, and coaches are required to follow these precautions during practice sessions. Players, parents, and coaches are required to wear a mask at all times during practices and games. We will work to maintain social distancing on the turf/field. Spectators are required to maintain 6 feet apart pursuant to social distancing guidelines.

We require players and spectators to complete a COVID checklist before each practice and game.

The checklist must be completed separately for players and any spectators. All player and spectators must check in with a Natick Youth Lacrosse representative before entering the practice field. Participants who do not complete the checklist or fail to check in will not be allowed to participate.

These sessions must comply with all State and town guidance. As such, we require that players come fully dressed with helmet (if applicable) and mask on and with their own water bottle so they can take the field immediately upon check in. We want to limit wait time before practices. Players will be asked to leave immediately after practice ends.
